This page explains how Due Date is determined according to the Training assignment date and User status.
📌 Basic concept summary
-
User_Assign Date:It means the state in which User can start the Training. (= when User's status is Active and the Training has been assigned) -
Training_First Assign Date:The first date on which Training can be assigned.-
Lecture_First Assign Date:The date on which Lecture first became Valid and Active -
Course_First Assign Date:The date on which Course first became Active
-
The earliest assignable date does not mean the start date of Active Period. Please refer to the example below.
Assuming Today = '2025-01-01',
-
Set the Lecture start date to '2025-01-01' and save
→ Lecture Status: Active & Valid -
Change the Lecture start date to '2025-01-02' and save
→ Lecture Status: Inactive -
Even after a day passes and Today = '2025-01-02', the earliest assignable date remains '2025-01-01' even if the Lecture status changes back to Active.
1. Apply Due Days method
If any of the following conditions apply, Due Date is calculated using the formula below.
-
User_Assign Date+ the Due Days of the corresponding Training
Condition A:
(AND condition)
-
Training_First Assign Date = User_Assign Date -
User's Date of Employment ≥ the Training Start Date
Condition B:
-
Training_First Assign Date ≠ User_Assign Date
2. Apply the Due Date set in the Training as is
If both of the following conditions are satisfied, the selected Due Date on the Training detail screen will be applied as the User's Due Date.
Condition C:
(AND condition)
-
Training_First Assign Date = User_Assign Date -
User's Date of Employment < the relevant Training's Start Date
Based on the above, even if the Date of Employment is in the past, it can be calculated based on Due Days. Accordingly, we recommend setting the Start Date to a future date.
📌 Examples of how Due Date is calculated for each condition
-
Assume the Lecture information is as follows.
-
Training_First Assign Date = January 5, 2025 -
Current Start Date = January 5, 2025
-
The Lecture's Due days = 30 days
-
The Lecture's Due date = February 15, 2025
-
🔹 Condition A. (Due Days method applied)
-
User A's information
-
Assigned date = 2025-01-05
-
Date of Employment = 2025-01-05
-
-
Calculation method
-
User_Assign Date(2025-01-05) = Training_First Assign Date(2025-01-05) -
Date of Employment
(2025-01-05) = Training_First Assign Date(2025-01-05)
-
-
Result: User A's Due date = 2025-01-05 + 30 days = 2025-02-04
🔹 Condition B. (Due Days method applied)
-
User B's information
-
Assigned date = 2025-01-10
-
-
Calculation method:
User_Assign Date(2025-01-10) ≠ Training_First Assign Date(2025-01-05) -
Result: User B's Due date = 2025-01-10 + 30 days = 2025-02-09
🔹 Condition C. (Apply the Due Date set in the training as is)
-
User C's information
-
Assigned date = 2025-01-05
-
Date of Employment = 2025-01-02
-
-
Calculation method:
-
User_Assign Date(2025-01-05) = Training_First Assign Date(2025-01-05) -
Date of Employment
(2025-01-02) < Training_First Assign Date(2025-01-05)
-
-
Result: User C's Due date = 2025-02-15
